One, two, three, four, five, once i caught a fish alive!

This week's post is dedicated to fishes as Lisbon is aloft on a cloud of sardines grilling!

First a rhyme:

Little fishes in a brook,

Father caught them on a hook,

Mother fried them in a pan,

Johnie eats them like a man!

and a song:

One 1, two 2, three 3, four 4, five 5,

Once I caught  a fish  alive.

Six 6, seven 7, eight 8, nine 9, ten 10,

But I let it  go again.

Why did I let it  go?

Because it bit  my finger  so.

Which finger  did it bite?

Sing&Tell @ the Lisbon Book Fair

Sábado, dia 8 de Junho, venha juntar-se a nós para uma hora de diversão em família com contos, cantigas e jogos em inglês no stand das BLX às 11h. Todos à Feira!

Come and join us for an hour of family fun with stories, songs and games in English on Saturday, June 8th at 11 a.m. at the BLX stand next to Gatafunho Book Shop at the Lisbon Book Fair.

Sunday the 26th Sing&Tell invades a Museum! Specifically the Medeiros e Almeida House-Museum in Lisbon, just  off the Avenida da Liberdade (Rua Rosa Araújo 41).
Come and join us to listen to some stories and sing along and then go for a picnic and a stroll at the Book Fair (Feira do Livro de Lisboa)

Domingo dia 26 o Sing&Tell invade um museu. Mais especificamente a Casa Museu Medeiros e Almeida (Rua Rosa Araújo 41 - frente ao Museu do Vinho). Junte-se a nós e depois aproveite para depois fazer um piquenique e dar uma volta na Feira do Livro de Lisboa.

O Sol a brilhar e nós aqui distraídos a cantar e esquecemo-nos de vos avisar que este sábado (18 de Maio) há Sing&Tell no Abrigo Infantil em Belém às 10h30! Apareçam! Edifício amarelo ao lado do Jardim Tropical em Belém - passam por baixo do arco e sobem as escadinhas à direita).

The long awaited sunshine has got us distracted and we forgot to warn you there is Sing&Tell this saturday (May 18th) at 10h30 a.m. in Belém (yellow building beside Tropical Garden in Belém - go through the arch and up the stairs on the right).
